K-pop heavyweight Big Bang member T.O.P is positively looking into a new film.

T.O.P may turn into a gambler in the second installation of film “Tazza: The High Roller,” an official with the film’s production company Sidus FNH Corporation told TenAsia over the phone on Wednesday.

The idol star is considering taking on the lead role of Ham Dae-gil, the nephew of Goni who is the main character in the first installation and who also becomes a gambler in Seoul.

While the first installation was directed by Choi Dong-hoon of hit film “The Thieves,” director Kang Hyong-chul of hit films “Scandal Makers” and “Sunny” will write the script and take the microphone for the sequel.

T.O.P, a member of Big Bang, made his name known as an actor through KBS action drama “IRIS” and continued to build his acting resume with the film “71- Into The Fire.”

T.O.P’s upcoming action pic “Commitment,” co-starring actress Han Ye-ri, will hit the Korean theaters later this year.
