This movie is about North and South Korea. The man who comes from North Korea with secret orders is the main character. But he is a high schooler. Looking forward to their story which makes your heart ache rather than intensive action. The boy, MyungHoon who must kill people to protect his one and only sister. He is only 19 years old now. Before he came to South Korea from the North, he had never thought being a killer. He was born with a good family background and his dream was to be a pianist. But after his father died because of being a bum rap, his dream melted away.
He went to South Korea and became a killer to save his sister.The rough days he should kill people after he gets ordered to do. The young killer, MyungHoon's the only friend is HyeIn who has same name with his sister. He opens his mind to her. It's about the north and south but it's not about the political belief. It's about third generation after their division. These children's lifes changed because of the history that they've never seen and never heard. So it's about sympathy.
The Public will feel sympathy for the boy who has to kill people although he doesn't want to, rather than feel excited about the intensive action. We focused on MyungHoon's feeling, not action. MyungHoon and HyeIn became friends, understood each other and sacrificed themselves for each other. They are trying to find their true self. HyeIn is also lonely girl who gets bullied at school. Two lonely children meet each other, know themselves and then find the perfection of self. So, this movie is also about sacrifice and rescue.
Choi SeungHyun was one of the student soldiers in the movie "71:Into the Fire", now he is the center character of the "Alumni". He is very good at emotional expression. You can see that he can be a good actor in this movie.
