Star possessions will be pouring forth at this year′s 2012 SIA!

The 5th Style Icon Awards (2012 SIA) will take place from October 24 to 25 at the CJ E&M Center, and in the middle of the festivities some stars will be meeting with fans through a special bazaar.

The bazaar will take place on October 24, with a total of about 100 items from about 30 stars including Big Bang′s G-Dragon, Song Joong Ki, Shin Se Kyung, Lee Je Hoon and Seo In Young.

Seo In Young, a known shoeholic, donated five pairs of shoes. G-Dragon, Shin Se Kyung, Jang Jae In and A Pink′s Jung Eun Ji also donated their clothes, and Lee Je Hoon will put his glasses and bags up for sale.

Chun Jung Myung, Lee Chun Hee, Jung Kyeo Woon, Eugene, Jo Yoon Hee, Yoon Jin Yi, Kim Ji Suk, Seo In Guk, Jung So Min and Double K have also given their items for the event.

Many known stylists will also be showcasing their ′it′ items at the bazaar. Jung Yoon Ki, Han Hye Yeon, Seo Soo Kyung, Jung Bo Yoon and Kim Sung Il will bring out a little something from their closets.

The bazaar will take place as an auction. At noon the first round will take place, followed by the second round at 3 p.m. All profits will be donated to Korean media arts.

A bigger variety of events are in store for those dropping by the 2012 SIA, as it will feature concerts, film festivals, pop-up restaurants and media art exhibitions.

Five contestants from O′live′s Master Chef Korea will cook for a pop-up restaurant showing off a special lunch, while the film Midnight in Paris will be screened along with the SIA Media Arts Awards exhibition and KM′s Music Triangle will hold its public performance in the afternoon.

SIA is an awards ceremony that picks out figures that have influenced the public′s lifestyles the most this year.

The main awards ceremony will take place on October 25 at the CJ E&M Center.

[NEWS] G-Dragon & Psy Appear on Billboard Chart Simultaneously! (120922)

On September 21, Psy‘s “Gangnam Style” jumped to the 11th place on the US Billboard’s Hot 100 chart from last week’s 64th place. This is the highest a Korean artist has ever made on Billboard chart in the history of Korean music industry. Moreover, Psy topped the US iTunes Top Songs chart, proving the world’s fascination with “Gangnam Style.” 

While YG Entertainment is still getting used to one of its artists’ sudden worldwide popularity, G-Dragon also made a surprise debut on the Billboard chart. G-Dragon’s solo album “One of A Kind” debuted on the Billboard 200 chart at 161th place. Prior to G-dragon, BoA, Big Bang, and TaeTiSeo made it toe the Billboard 200 chart. G-Dragon’s “One of A Kind” also made it to the top of World Albums chart and 6th place on the Heatseeker’s chart.

As a result, YG Entertainment now has two of its artists on the Billboard in both singles and albums chart. Currently, Psy is staying in the United States, focusing on promoting “Gangnam Style.” G-dragon recently made a comeback on SBS “Inkigayo” and officially started his promotional cycle.

Seungri will be casting in " Kindaichi Shonen no Jikenbo" a.k.a Kindaichi Case Files 2hrs special movie! This movie is known as 【 金田一少年的の事件簿 香港九龍財宝殺人事件】in Japanese. The story will be taken place in Hongkong's Kowloon and it's related to murder case. FYI, Kindaichi Case Files is a serialized Japanese mystery manga series based on crime solving adventures of a high school student, Hajime Kindaichi. The movie will sure be very interesting. [NEWS] Big Bang ranks #1 & #2 on YouTube “Most Viewed K-Pop Music Video on the First Half of 2012”! (120716)

Idol group, Big Bang, has taken the first and second place as the most viewed K-Pop music video on the first half-year on YouTube.

On July 16th, the world video-sharing website, YouTube, has officially released “Top 10 Most Viewed K-Pop Music Video on the First Half of 2012.”

In this released announcement, which is divided into two categories, namely global and domestic, Big Bang’s songs “Fantastic Baby” and “Blue”, which is from their 5th mini album that was released in late February 2012, take place as the first and the second most viewed K-Pop music video.

On Sunday morning, “Fantastic Baby” music video has been viewed all over the world for over 30,000,000 times on Big Bang’s official YouTube channel only. “Blue” music video also surpassed 25,000,000 clicks.

Big Bang’s “Bad Boy” and their title song of the special edition album that was released in June, “Monster”, music videos are also placed on the fourth and sixth as the most viewed K-Pop music video.
