Big Bang to release "Special Final in Dome Memorial Collection" in Japan Posted by vic on November 6, 2012

Big Bang will release a special album in commemoration of holding concerts in the three biggest domes in Japan.

On November 6, a spokesperson for Big Bang reported that Big Bang will release a new album in Japan under the title of Special Final in Dome Memorial Collection. Including the members’ solo songs, a total of six songs will be contained in the album.

Big Bang, currently on a world tour, have decided to release a special album in commemoration of holding concerts in the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, and the Yahoo! Japan Dome in Fukuoka. Big Bang will hold concerts in the Kyocera Dome on November 23 and in the Tokyo Dome and the Yahoo! Japan Dome in December.

On November 6, Sankei Sports reported that Big Bang’s G-Dragon said, “We’re very happy to release a special album in commemoration of holding concerts in the three biggest domes in Japan.”

Big Bang held thirteen concerts in five cities in Japan in May and June, attracting a total audience of 150,000. Including the upcoming concerts in the domes, they’re expected to attract a total audience of 355,000.

Big Bang‘s Seungri is receiving the limelight as a variety rookie in Japan.

In the midst of Big Bang’s world tour preparations, Seungri has been appearing on several variety programs in Japan. He has been working alongside top Japanese comedians and is receiving a lot of love for it.

Broadcast sources are praising Seungri for his energetic image and diligent work ethics. They say that Seungri has the ability to quickly analyze the fast trends of Japan so there were little to no problems in adjusting.

Seungri’s reps spoke with Star News and said, “Seungri is being recognized for his quick senses and his strong yet diligent stance. He is quickly learning about the trends of Japan and is naturally fitting in with the Japanese broadcast. He recently held a solo fan meeting as well.”

Oricon Style held an interview with Seungri where he stated, “In whatever circumstance, I want to give it my all,” and “I think it’s luck that I’m receiving this popularity right now. I’m enjoying it.”

After Big Bang completed their Japanese tour last month, Seungri was the only one who remained in Japan for various activities. Only after a month of variety TV appearances, Seungri was chosen as a special MC for a particular show and even had a show created for him, “V.I. From Big Bang.”

It has been a long time...

It has been a long time since my last update.. Lots of things have happened.. It is really good to have activities in Japan...

I have been having good times in these three months. Time flies.. really...
The memory in Japan... to me... it is something important...
I will not forget it for my whole life..

I have been having loads of 1st times here...
I have really done so much this year...

Then we are now having World Tour...
Thailand, Taiwan then now, we will go to Phillipines.

When I am flying to these countries, I am thinking about why these people know Big Bang and cheer for us?

There are countries that we have just been there as our 1st visit but there were still so many fans waiting for us.
We are really blessed. Really, we are loved by the people all around the world. I think like this.

In Japan, when I was filming outdoors with Sugi Chan, it was just summer and was really hot. Now, winter is already approaching.

Everybody is doing good?

Can I still write this blog from now on?

Because I have been staying in the rooms of different hotels, I do feel a bit lonely..

I might forget my Japanese too...

I want to meet you guys very much too...

Because seeing you has already become part of my habit...

These 3 months... Although many things did happen, thank you so much for supporting me all the way. I am really grateful to all of you.

I will work hard in the future too.

Philippines was great

Today was really great,i’m so surprised! This is our first time doing LIVE in Philippine but the reaction from everyone was so great, i’m surprised. Everyone danced to our music. Every countries have their own style, i feel that Philippine was quite calm ^^ And i think the town was a bit quiet..but it was really hot! It was fun! Philippine, Thank you!

Although the most regret is language. i wanted to talk more… Of course…In front of everyone… In front of fans who are always protecting us, we wanted to convey our feelings more. But it seems impossible to remember words from every country.. So..fans please understand that okay… i wonder since when i started to speak japanese so well… I watched the Live DVD of our concert in Japan last year, seeing myself talking using the wrong japanese, made me think ‘what this person is saying?” Now? i can even write diary personally… Um. Anyway, i think it’s a good thing for me.

It will be good if all Bigbang members become fluent in japanese. So that we could have our own show with ‘Bigbang’ name on it. Though TOP san is cuter, the way he is now.. A really handsome person like him talking like an elementary school kid.. the gap of those things, is his charm point. Because TOP san is really busy with movie filming, it seems he don’t get a good sleep… ^_^ But seeing him working so hard on it, i think he’s great. I’m looking forward to see what kind of movie it’s going to be~

Next is Malaysia.. Looks like it’s having a hard time there (because of the rainy season), will it going to be okay? I’m sure Malaysian fans also are waiting for us…

It’s going to be okay..

Because i’m a ‘hareru otoko’, the weather will be good as well! (hareru otoko = a man who causes the weather to become sunny when he gets out) The clouds are on our side too! Please!

[NEWS] Big Bang to hold two additional concerts in Japan with 455,000 fans! (121012)

Big Bang will hold two additional concerts in Osaka, Japan.

Big Bang drew a lot of attention by announcing that they will hold concerts at Tokyo Dome, Kyocera Dome, and Yahoo Japan Dome for the first time as Korean singers. They decided to add two more concerts at Kyocera Dome in Osaka on January 12 and 13, next year.

As a result, the group will hold the ‘Big Bang Alive Tour 2012 in Japan Special Final in Dome’ with 455,000 fans in total in Japan after they held the ‘Big Bang Alive Tour 2012 in Japan’ in May and June.

Even though the group has only been debuted for three years, their high popularity in Japan added two more concerts. Big Bang showed off their power in ticket sales by selling out the tickets for the concerts.

The group sold all 24,000 seats in the United States, the hometown of pop, and decided to hold additional concerts in LA and New Jersey.

G-Dragon is currently keeping busy with his solo EP One of a Kind and Seungri is also keeping busy by appearing on Japanese TV programs and a special Japanese TV series. T.O.P is also shooting the movie Alumni.

Due to heavy demand, Big Bang has added two more concert dates in its Japan concert series.

After already making headlines for being the first Korean artist to do a three-dome concert tour in Japan (Tokyo Dome, Kyocera Dome, Yahoo!Japan Dome), YG Entertainment revealed on October 12 that it had added two more concert dates at Osaka’s Kyocera Dome.

Fans in Japan will have two more opportunities to see Big Bang live in concert on January 12 and 13 at the Osaka Kyocera Dome.

With the addition of the two dates, Big Bang is now expected to have performed in front of some 455,000 individuals once it completes its arena tour, which kicked off in May.

Big Bang Expected to Earn More in Royalties with Additional Japan Dome Concert Posted by kaowao on September 25, 2012

Big Bang will be earning 10.6 billion won from its three-Dome Japan tour.

The group originally planned to hold concerts in two locations: the Osaka Kyosera Dome from November 23-24 and in the Tokyo Dome on December 5. As an increasing number of local fans requested more concerts, however, it came to add another concert at the Fukuoka Yahoo! Japan Dome to be held on December 22.With the addition, Big Bang not only broke records in concert profits, but also in audience numbers.

Analyst Jin Heung Guk of Hyundai Securities said, "The decision to add another concert to Big Bang′s Japan tour increased the audience the group is expected to draw from 120,000 to 200,000 for the latter half of the year. The royalties from Big Bang for the first quarter of 2013, which were originally estimated to be 6.4 billion won, have also increased to 10.6 billion, and the business profits that were originally expected to be about 9.1 billion won have increased to 10.7 billion."

Even while the Korean wave continues to stumble over the Dokdo issue, Big Bang has proved it still stands strong.

Big Bang will become the first Korean artists to hold a concert tour hitting Japan’s 3 large Domes. 

On September 10th, YG Entertainment announced that an additional concert date had been added as a finale concert for their ‘Big Bang Alive Tour 2012 in Japan‘. Following their concerts to be held at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka (November 23rd and 24th) and at the Tokyo Dome (December 5th), the ‘Special Final in Dome‘ concert will be held at the Yahoo! Japan Dome in Fukuoka on December 22nd.

 
Earlier this year, Big Bang held their a Japanese concert tour in May and June hitting up 5 cities with 13 concerts. With the addition of their remaining concerts in 2012, Big Bang will have performed for 355,000 audience members in Japan. 

YG Entertainment told allkpop that originally 150,000 tickets were prepared for their concert tour earlier this year, but over 1,000,000 ticket requests were received. Big Bang’s Dome tour was created as an expression of gratitude for the endless requests made by fans who were unable to attend their concerts. However, as their Dome tour became yet another hit in ticket sales, the Fukuoka stop has been added to the tour. 

Meanwhile, Big Bang plans to continue their ‘Big Bang Alive Galaxy Tour 2012‘ world tour in Singapore on September 28th. 

Such a big achievement to be able to perform in Japan's 3 largest domes :D is Big Bang coming to your country soon for their tour? ^^
