Big Bang′s Daesung Rises to #2 on Oricon Daily Chart!
According to the Oricon on February 28, Daesung′s first solo album D′scover rose to number two following its debut at number four on the Daily Album Chart.
For the album, Daesung chose 10 J-Pop songs out of over 200 nominees and reinterpreted them in his own voice. Two new original songs were also listed for a total of 12 tracks.
Four top musicians in Japan - Seiji Kameda, M-Flo′s rapper Verbal, music producer Matsuo Kiyoshi and composer Sasaji Masanori - joined in the album to perfect the top-tier project.
To celebrate his solo ventures in Japan, Daesung will be holding a total of 25 shows from March 23 to 24 in Kobe to June. The D-Lite D′scover Tour 2013 in Japan ~ DLIVE~ is expected to draw an audience of over 100,000.
