Yoo Seung Woo came out of nowhere and is drawing attention as G-Dragon’s doppelganger on “Super Star K4.” His segment was shown on “Super Star K4”, a show hosted by the cable Mnet, on the 17th. Lee Seung Chul, one of the judges, has commented that Yoo Seung Woo is a strong candidate to make it to TOP 10 and his statement is creating much buzz. Yoo Seung Woo looks similar to Big Bang’s leader G-Dragon when he was little and it’s stirring even more attention on the internet. He appeared on the 1st episode of “Super Star K4” with shaggy hair, cute eye smiles and round face similar to G-Dragon.

On this day, Yoo Seung Woo appeared with the indie band “Fire Moth Star Sausage Club.” He arranged the song “Suk Bong Ah” and sung while playing the guitar showing that he has musical skills similar to G-Dragon and not just the face.

When Yoo Seung Woo appeared on screen, netizens wrote “His shaggy hair and cute eye smiles is like looking at G-Dragon when he’s young,” “Cutie Yoo Seung Woo, please stay like you are,” “I hope he can survive until the live stage portion” creating a hot sensation.

In order to fulfill his dreams, Yoo Seung Woo moved from Choongnam, Cheonahn to Seoul during his freshman year in high school. His small frame and cute appearance is different from his musical skills, which has received unanimous votes from the judges.

Big Bang earned over 6 billion won from CFs in the first half of 2012 [NEWS]

According to a segment broadcast on tvN’s enews on June 29, Big Bang filmed six commercials and reportedly earned an estimated 1.1 billion won (968,000 USD) per CF to rake in a total of 6.6 billion won (5.8 million dollars) in the first half of 2012, putting the idol group in the upper ranks in terms of earnings.


Lee Jung Pyo from SK Marketing & Company is quoted in the clip saying, “On the earnings of current idol group models, it’s safe to say [Big Bang] is at the highest level.”

What’s more impressive is that the 6.6 billion won figure is exclusive of T.O.P’s individual earnings as a CF model.

The clip also notes that Big Bang recently shot a CF in Japan, which member Seungri nailed for the group through personal connections, for 400 million won, proving that everyone wants a piece of the idol group.

[NEWS] Taeyang is chosen as Top 4 Best Idol Dancers on 'Show Champion'! (120627)

The June 26th episode of MBC Music‘s ‘Show Champion' featured a segment surveying choreography teams at the broadcast hall on who they thought were the best idol dancers.According to the survey results found by producers of the show, choreography teams chose Taeyang ,Jay Park, Kahi, and HyunA as the four top idol dancers in the industry. The choreographers reasoned that the four had strong foundations and exceptional expressional skills.Other ranking idols included Yunho, Lee Joon, Minzy, and Min in no particular order.
