Ratings for the “2013 Mnet Asian Music Awards” (“2013 MAMA”) were slightly up from last year.
According to ratings agency TNmS, November 22’s “2013 MAMA” earned a 4.872% rating amongst the country’s cable subscribing households, compared to a rating of 3.547% last year, a 1.325% increase in viewership. The rating is a combined viewership from Mnet (1.497%), KM (0.352%), O’live (0.461%), XTM (0.735%), On Style (0.280%), tvN (0.787%) and Story on (0.760%).
Comparing ratings between the three parts that “2013 MAMA” was split into, the second part had the highest rating of 5.380%, followed by the third part (5.045%) and first part (4.146%). The highest 1-minute rating at 6.917% was during BIGBANG’s performance.
Female viewers in their teens made up the largest demographic of cable viewers who tuned in to “2013 MAMA,” followed by women in their 40s (4.768%), 30s (3.416%) and then those in their 20s (2.899%).
