Professional Dancers Pick the Best Idol Dancers [NEWS]

A team of professional dancers have made their picks of the best dancers among idol groups.

On the June 26 broadcast of MBC’s Show Champion, a team of professional dancers were surveyed on who the best dancers were among idol groups.


Despite a competitive pool, the top four that were selected were Big Bang’s Taeyang, Jay Park, former After School member Kahi and Hyuna from 4Minute.

The four beat out some other well-known dancing machines including U-Know Yunho of DBSK (TVXQ), MBLAQ’s Lee Joon, 2NE1’s Minzy, miss A’s Min and more.

Hangul Smart Domain Organization's popularity poll for male K-pop groups is now open. The winners in this poll will be part of the first groups to have special website URLs or domains in Hangul (Korean characters).

Last May, they held a poll for girl groups and the top 3 that were awarded with Hangul domains are SNSD (http://소녀시대.홈), Kara (http://카라.홈) and the Wonder Girls (http://원더걸스.홈). Aside from .홈 (.home) URLs, their fanclub pages were also given .팬 (.fan) domains.


If BIGBANG wins, they'll get the same .home and .fan domains (Ex: 빅뱅.홈 and 빅뱅.팬) like the girl groups listed above.

How to vote for BIGBANG:

*You can only vote once per day per IP address. If your internet connection has a dynamic IP address, meaning you get a new IP address each time you disconnect/connect to the internet, you can vote more than once a day.

Rolling Stone Magazine: BIG BANG One of the 10 Kpop Bands most likely to break in America [NEWS]

 Despite a nearly two-year hiatus, boy band BIG BANG continues to be one of K-Pop’s most established and popular groups. Before their comeback this year, BIG BANG made a statement at the 2011 MTV European Music Awards by winning "Best Worldwide Act." The award was voted on by fans and saw the group beating out Britney Spears and other popular artists from all regions.




The group reemerged with their
Alive EP, which included mid-tempo R&B-influenced ballads like "Blue" and high-energy bangers like "Fantastic Baby." The set charted on the Billboard 200 at Number 150 despite no physical release or active promotion in America. BIG BANG members G-Dragon and T.O.P in particular have caught the eyes of super-producer Diplo (who produced a track for their duo project titled "Knock Out") and British pop singer Pixie Lott (who features them on the track "Dancing On My Own" for the Japanese release of her second album
